Mairead Russell is a fully qualified and registered Analytical Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist, Certified NLP Practitioner and EFT Practitioner. Mairead is also a qualified Time Line Therapist and Mind Band (Gastric Band Hypnosis) Practitioner too. She has her own practice at the Alliston Medical Centre in Urmston.

Mairead has been a qualified hypnotherapist for over 4 years now and has enjoyed her role helping others overcoming their problems. She has, over the years, become a specialist in weight management and anxiety disorders. Mairead is a fully liscensced pratitioner of the Mind Band (Gastric Band Hypnosis) and a Weight Managment Consultant too. She continually updates her knowledge attending various courses as well as more formal research from books, the internet and indeed her many clients! Mairead attributes the success of her weight loss hypnosis to her analytical approach which enables her to resolve the motivating factor behind overeating.

Mairead has gained a Diploma in Analytical Hypnotherapy and Psycotherapy which has enabled her to become fully trained and qualified in identifying and resolving many issues from anxiety, panic, depression to comfort eating. She goes beyond the clinical approach to hypnotherapy and seeks to resolve problems rather than helping people to 'cope'with or supress their issues.

Mairead has also become a Certified NLP Practitioner as well as a qualified EFT (Level 2) Practitioner. Mairead beleives that it is her flexibility as a therapist, with her many approaches and tools, that has enabled her to help many clients overcome obstacles in their lives and go on to live a more fulfilling and successful future.

Mairead also holds diplomas in Anger Mangement, NLP, Teaching Meditation, Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy; Counselling; Weight Managment Hypnotherapy; Gastric Band Hypnosis; Anxiety & Phobia Therapy.

Futhermore Mairead due to her qualified status has gained full membership to the General Hypnotherapy Register which adheres to strict guidelines laid down by the Generaly Hypnotherapy Standards Council. She attends regular supervision sessions to ensure her professionalism and expertise.

Mairead has also been accepted onto the NHS Directory of Complementary & Alternative Health Practitioners.
