EFT - EMOTIONAL FREEDOM TECHNIQUE -  MANCHESTER

Emotional Freedom Technique or EFT as it is more commonly known is an emotional healing techniques similar to acupuncture but without the needles. EFT has had phenomenal success in treating a range of emotional and physical conditions and what’s more EFT is a simple yet effective therapy that anyone can use!

EFT works on the premise that our body’s subtle energies are strongly linked to our emotional well being and our heath and thus correcting any energy imbalances in our system can overcome physical and emotional symptoms. So what is EFT?

EFT is a process that involves simply tapping various acupressure points in order to correct any energy imbalances that may exist within our bodies. EFT works on the basis that any negative emotion is caused by a disruption in our energy field and this disruption can be corrected by tapping on various acupressure points on our energy channels (meridians). Where there is an imbalance in our system there is a corresponding blockage in the flow of energy through the meridian system.

EFT, through tapping on certain points, releases these energy blockages which cause our negative emotions and thus bringing our emotional wellbeing into balance. So an event that upset us before (a fear of spiders or a distressing event in our past) will no longer have an emotional impact on us, no matter how hard we focus on it! Yes the memory will still exist however the strong emotions associated with it are dissipated. The emotional element has been ‘cleared’ out allowing us to enjoy a more emotionally freer life. What’s more EFT is a natural and safe method which can also help us become more relaxed, calm, focused and positive if used on a daily basis.

So what can be treated with EFT?

Virtually any emotional imbalance or psychological issue can be treated successfully with EFT and below are examples of symptoms treated:
